No. Caricature artists are not all the same! Styles vary and it's very important to check out the type of caricature of the artist before you hire them. Some caricature artist's drawings are very exaggerated, which might not work too well for a kid's party. Caricatures artists differ in experience, styles, dependability, specialty (drawing children or adults) and how helpful they are, when discussing your needs for your upcoming event.
When hiring a caricature artist, you should always look at samples of their work, to see if their style will fit with the kind of event you are going to have. Artist’s styles can vary greatly, from very exaggerated to tame and flattering, so you want to be sure that it’s the right fit for your needs. It’s also a good idea to check out their reviews and ask the artist, how many years of experience they have. A phone conversation is a good way to get to know someone, before you actually meet them in person.
